We are the first-tier supplier of the Automotive OEM located in Austin, TX and looking for candidates who have a great passion and motivation in this position. The candidates could learn and develop through experience from various projects.
Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
As requested by the Manager, conducts or assists with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Proficiency in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for effective inventory management.
Process OEM, Supplier, and Contractor Chargeback Claims due to downtime, part defects, etc.
Monitor the product delivery process to ensure timely and quality delivery, addressing delays or issues promptly and continuously improving the delivery process efficiency.
Monitor departmental performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
Collaborate with other managers to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects.
Drafts, submits, and presents various performance and management reports.
Manage inventory, approving or facilitating purchases as needed
Manage conflicts and resolve complaints about or within the department.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
English (Native or Fluent)
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required
Minimum 5 years’ experience as Production Planning manager in the automotive related industries
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Business trip abroad available. Up to 10%
